UBE Corporation has released a video on its official YouTube channel introducing its DMC (Dimethyl Carbonate) and EMC (Ethyl Methyl Carbonate) plant construction project currently underway in Louisiana, USA.

DMC and EMC are key materials used in electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries (LiB). Demand for these products is expected to continue growing as electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems (ESS) become more widely adopted.

The video provides an overview of the DMC/EMC plant being constructed in Louisiana and highlights the project's progress, including the fabrication of large-scale equipment modules, their transportation by sea, and their installation at the site.
