UBE Corporation (President: Yuki Nishida; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter, "UBE") has been awarded the EcoVadis*¹ Gold rating, placing the company among the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide. This is UBE's first time achieving the Gold level.

The EcoVadis assessment is based on international sustainability standards and evaluates companies across four core themes--Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement--against 21 criteria. Since its establishment in 2007, EcoVadis has assessed more than 150,000 companies across 250 industries in 185 countries.
