UPORE® Microporous Polyolefin Film
Microporous polyolefin film is an essential material for primary and secondary lithium batteries. UPORE® is manufactured using proprietary technology, resulting in a film with an even microporous structure that can be laminated in single or in multiple layers.
 
●Features

  1. Made from polyolefin raw material, has excellent solvent resistance and chemical resistance.
  2. Manufactured using a dry method (crystal lamellae stretching method) that uses no solvents or inorganic fillers.
  3. Dry method is eco-friendly as well as free of contaminants due to the use of clean rooms for production.
  4. Single layer products, of polypropylene or polyethylene, and laminated products with both are available.
  5. Laminate grade with polypropylene and polyethylene offers high temperature heat resistance and lower temperature shutdown.
  6. Uniaxial stretching delivers outstanding dimensional stability without shrinking in the width direction.
  7. Pores are aligned in a straight line along the length of the thickness direction. (See cross-section image.) This structure makes it ideal for high output applications such as power tools, electric bicycles and electric vehicles.
  8. Film thickness and air permeability can be designed according to customer needs.

U-Varnish Polyidime Binder
U-Varnish is a solution of polyimide precursorpolyamic acid. It is coated on substrate and heated to high temperatures to vaporize the solvent, accelerate the imidization reaction and make a non-soluble, non-melting film coating with superior heat resistance, chemical resistance and electric insulation properties.
